    I have tried many energy bars, and TF:s is one of my top 2 out of the 5 brands I currently stock.
    Good taste and not as “dry” as many others in the mouthfeel. You can actually eat it as is instead of having to make a porridge out of it!

    High in calories and fast energy release. Good at keeping hunger away.
    Maybe a bit too crumbly and challenging to open the inner packaging if occupied with helming or at low light conditions. Definitely will require few sips water after the snack. But kept me well “entertained/energized” during nights shifts at the helm.

    We used TF rations during our 600 nmiles regatta by all crew with good reviews. Moreover, we have appreciated the weight gain and the overall experience of being in a tough environment was significantly better.
    This was our trial with TF (thus unsure of the statement) but all felt more dehydrated than usual. I would recommend experimenting with and having a bit more liquid on you (not only for ration preparation as consistency is a personal preference).
